Emphasis is placed o interconnection of the various historical disciplines, especially with art history and the historical sciences. The candidate is primarily a graduate of a Master's degree program in Studies or Theology or General Theory and History of Art and Culture, or related fields of of history within the scope of the Master's degree programme in Historical Sciences is req of Latin and two world languages is also required. The aim of the study is to prepare stud independent scholarly research in their field and specialization. In the academic year 2023/2024, the Catholic Theological Faculty offers the following spec a.Church and general history of antiquity b.Church and general history of the Middle Ages c.Church and general history of the early modern period d.Church and general history of the 19th and 20th centuries Students of the FULL TIME form of study are obliged to participate in all conferences, col invited lectures of guests from the field and similar events organized by the faculty. (Fulfilling the obligation: each year of study) Description of verification and evaluation criteria: Entrance examination: Applicants must demonstrate a good knowledge of Czech and European history, Czech and Euro literature, social sciences, basic philosophy and spiritual sciences at the level of gradu Master's degree programme in History or History of European Culture or Theology. In additi should demonstrate the ability to speak and write in a cultivated manner. The applicant is to have a deep interest in historical topics, which he/she will demonstrate by a list of l studied and the ability to analyse and interpret this literature, demonstrating the abilit independent judgement and opinion. In addition to a general cultural outlook, applicants m a motivational aptitude for study. A knowledge of history within the scope of the Master's in Historical Studies is required. Knowledge of two world languages (one of which is Germa required. The admission examination takes the form of an oral interview to test the applicant's hist linguistic knowledge and to assess the dissertation proposal and the applicant's idea of t study. The candidate must successfully pass the entrance examination.
